Charlie Boy features Falz on ‘Fake Pastors’

Former PMAN president, Charlie Boy, will release a new single today. Ironically titled “God of Men” (Fake Pastors), the single will be released on a day globally set aside for lovers, Valentine’s Day. The single features another ‘bad boy’ in Nigeria’s music industry, Falz.

The single spotlights the activities of dubious Clerics who always seek to exploit the masses.

Charlie Boy, also known as Area Fada, told Friday Treat that Falz has won his respect with his talent, conscious music and passion, even at his young age. He added that his duet with the actor-cum-musician is to reassure Nigerians of his love for them and the industry by releasing the single on Lovers’ Day after many years without a song.

“I plan to come back to an industry I have helped to build and ready to be a player, even at this point in time. I want to take a break from street protests and divert the energy into making music that will prick consciences like never before,” he said.

The single, from the 10-track album he has completed, also shares the plight of the common man whose daily life has been that of struggles, “but with a splash of love from today, I believe many will be encouraged and be hopeful for better days,” added the activist.

The song was produced by Acesoundz and will be available on prominent music platforms nationwide.
